Vietnam - Floods and landslides (ECHO 06 Aug 2024)

On August 4, heavy rainfall affected the Hanoi and Lang Son provinces (northern Vietnam), causing floods, triggering landslides, and resulting in casualties and damage.
According to the ASEAN Disaster Information Network (ADINet), two people died, and more than 5,200 people have been affected, as well as 785 houses.
For the next 24 hours, moderate rainfall is expected across the affected provinces.
